Berth 1 West - Devonport, Pile Wrapping Campaign
Our Devonport team have been undertaking a long term pile wrapping campaign under the leadership of a mainland construction company. TDS has collaborated with site teams and managed the complete pile stripping, cleaning and wrapping campaign of both I beam and concrete octagonal piles.

Devonport Quaylink Development - Commercial Dive Services
Our northern team has proudly assisted the HazellBrady JV through various stages of the Devonport Quaylink project with subsea developments. TDS involvement included underwater cutting, seabed surveying and dredging.

Urgent Propellor Reshaping Works to Fishing Trawler
Late in the afternoon during a heavy storm, Total Dive Solutions team was engaged by a large seafaring ship to perform urgent repair works to the propellor and propellor tunnel after sustaining serious damage causing vibrations to the ship. TDS team worked round the clock using our specialised equipment to re-shape the propellor and address the vibration issue. We were proud to see the ship return to working order thanks to the tireless work of our crew.

Condemned Pile Removal & River Debris Removal - Bridge Asset Management
Our team recently spent some time in the north of the state with one of our valued clients on their Emu River bridge asset. Our divers removed old debris (trees) which had made their way downstream in floodwater and become stuck. Divers then removed redundant old piles using our underwater chainsaw.

Port Debris Removal - Port Works
TDS worked with another of our valued clients at the local port authority to urgently remove debris which were identified in the harbour. Our team mobilised quickly to remove the debris in a timely manner, ensuring a successful outcome for all involved. Thank you for having us!

'Huntress' Salvage

Surveyors Bay Boat Ramp - Marine Civil Construction
TDS successfully delivered a new boat ramp at Surveyors Bay. Our crews removed the old boat ramp and replaced it with a new ramp, ensuring an upgraded experience for locals who enjoy getting out in this area of Southern Tasmania. 'Kioni' Salvage
Over the Christmas break, Kioni was anchored off Flinders Island when she sustained damage resulting in the skegg being dislodged. Our crew were onsite within 8 hours and prevented her from sinking. Our crew then sailed her to Melbourne where repairs are planned to be carried out.

Artificial Reef Seeding - Scientific Diving Services
Our scientific diving crew worked on a federally funded reef seeding project on two sites in Southern Tasmania. The crew seeded the reef structures as part of a nationwide project looking at how these types of reefs can contribute to the biodiversity of our marine ecosystems - love your work team!

Debris Removal - Bridge Asset Management
We worked with a high profile client to remove flood debris that were obstructing one of their bridge assets. Over a week, the team removed more than 70 tonnes of debris.

'Kilimanjaro VIII' Vessel Support Work
The team undertook pressure cleaning of a newly built 54m catamaran destined for Africa. Our divers used high pressure cleaners to assist in the successful delivery of this new build and assist our client to get the job done in a timely manner.

Handfish Surveying for Construction Clearance
Our marine scientific dive crew jumped in to perform a Spotted Handfish Natural Values Survey clearance dive to permit nearby construction works to commence. TDS often conducts surveys of this nature for construction projects and is proud to adhere closely to environemental constraints of major projects.

'Miss Temma' Salvage
Over the Christmas and New Years break we were called to salvage the Miss Temma fishing vessel. She was left partially submerged, after another operator failed to salvage her. We successfully floated her and moved her to a marina for assessment.

'No Kerfuffle' Salvage
We successfully salvaged ‘No Kerfuffle’ from Sloping Reef. Our fast response team arrived on site to first secure the hydrocarbons, before dive crew arrived to float and tow her back to safe harbour, where she then was craned for assessment.

Sheet Pile Repairs
Our team worked with a specialised product to urgently repair the integrity of sheet piles on a civils site. We’re proud to have work efficiently to deliver a successful outcome.

High Voltage Cable Inspection
The crew recently conducted an inspection of a subsea High Voltage cable. We are pleased to be able to offer our clients High Definition underwater video of our work.

Channel Marker Recovery
Our team successfully recovered and re-installed navigation channel piles that has become dislodged. We are pleased with the result and thank all involved.

Marine Safety Commercial
We teamed up with Marine and Safety Tasmania - MAST to help with filming a commercial about the importance of correct buoyancy. We sunk and re-floated ‘Monica’ multiple times for the demonstrations and helped filming the underwater perspectives with our HD camera equipment.

Navigation Marker Fabrication
In the workshop the crew fabricated a new isolated danger navigation marker, before installing up at Lake Pedder. We are very happy with how it turned out.
